SMALL STEPS #2: CREATING SEX POSITIVE DIALOGUE, September 2014
Why are we uncomfortable speaking to family about sex? What does it mean to be sexually healthy? Should schools be teaching sex ed? So many questions, so few talking! This meetup—a collaboration with Seeds of Awareness and hosted at the generous Centre for Education & Documentation—was all about sex and sexuality education.

Seeds of Awareness specializes in promoting holistic sexual health and conduct workshops for schools, NGOs, and corporate offices. Their workshops cover topics such as gender dynamics, adolescent development, consensual relationships, self-esteem, body image, and sexual violence.

SMALL STEPS FOR SAFETY, June 2014
Is Mumbai a safe city? Badal ja! took to the streets to find out what Mumbaikars had to say, then organized a campaign around everyday small steps that each of us can take to make Mumbai a safe and livable city for everyone.

Thank you to everyone who joined the neighborhood walk on a monsoon-drenched evening! Extra special thanks to Akshara and MAVA for sharing the amazing work they’re doing in Mumbai.
